Hello,

Thank you for participating in the SitePoint & Ektron survey on the State of Web Development in 2006.

We received over 5000 responses, making this one of the most comprehensive surveys of Web Developers ever completed. As promised, the results are now available for you to download in PDF format at:

http://www.sitepoint.com/report2006/state_of_web_development_results.pdf

But wait - there's more!

Given the quality of the response, we have decided to get our team of analysts to spend more time producing a detailed report - with a full correlation analysis, commentary & summaries.

We expect to have the full report available for sale later this month. As an initial respondent you will be entitled to a generous discount on the purchase price. We will let you know as soon as it is ready!

In the meantime, enjoy your free access to the results as promised, and congratulations goes out to Jerry Sullivan, Principal, of NavillusWebWorks in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts who won the 20" Wide Panel LCD Monitor.

Best Regards,
The SitePoint & Ektron Team.

There are actually a couple of cool statistics in there. Of course, they will have the full report "on sale" later this month... douchebags. I don't remember them saying anything about selling this shit when I took the survey.

thanks for the link, some interesting stuff in there. too bad SP is so greedy and won't release the "full" report for free

Do you validate your markup? 25% said 100% valid. Suckers :1orglaugh:

They should have done a report targeted towards the users, not the developers. I could careless about 1/2 of the stuff on the survery (although pretty cool to actually see the numbers). I would be more interested in screen resolutions, browser versions, flash plug-ins installed, etc...
