Display Sponsored Posts on your Wordpress site using the WP Sponsored Posts plugin. Sell sponsored posts by category or on your site’s homepage. With WP Sponsored Posts, sponsored posts stand out from your other posts at the top of your homepage, category page, or single post page. WP Sponsored Posts has all the features you need to display and sell sponsored posts.

  2. Feature selected sponsors on your homepage.
  3. Automated order form allows advertisers to checkout and pay for their post. Allows for advertiser "self service" and less work for you.

  5. Integrates with Paypal for seamless payment processing.
  6. Sponsored post Impression and Click Tracking.
  7. Expiration dates for limited run advertisements. Sell weekly, biweekly, monthly, or quaterly sponsorships.
  8. Display and template options let you determine the look of your sponsored posts to match the look of your site.

SPECIAL New Years Pricing. For the launch of WP Sponsored Posts, I am offering the plugin at discounted, limited time pricing of just $49 per site. Install the plugin and increase your blog revenue for 2010. For more information, screenshots and demos, or to order the plugin, visit the WP Sponsored Posts website.

$49 per site is kinda high for a plugin like that. Any review copies?
If you are giving out review copies, I'll take one.

^^ what dumdum said.... saw it this morning, but thought the cost was a little high given the functionality. Maybe I missed something?

For the features it provides, I think $49 is low actually. The plugin lets you sell unique private placements easily and one sponsorship should more than pay for the plugin. The functionality isn't trivial or something you could piece together or code in an hour or two either - the plugin comes in at over 700 lines of code just for version 1.

I can offer a few review copies for people who run established Wordpress sites that actually would or do sell private ad placements and would be willing to allow me to link to you on my "Users" page. If you have a site that could sell sponsored placements, PM me the URL and I'll get in touch with you about a review copy.

Hah. You beat Wolfe to it. Except it sounds like Wolfe's is probably a bigger project.

Edit: as for the price guys, why don't you vote with your wallet? Either you want it or you don't.

The plugin was inspired by the 200k/year thread as well as some other ideas I was thinking about for a Wordpress powered directory. The plugin can be used to create a niche directory featuring a mix of free and paid postings, with the features needed to allow advertisers to submit and pay for sponsored posts from the site.

I setup a demo niche directory based around my city so that you can get see how the plugin can be used for displaying premium posts by category. Visit ChampaignFood.com to see the plugin in action and get some ideas on how you can use it yourself.

The plugin can also be used if you are a traditional blogger and you want to sell a different type of sponsorship option than the common 125x125s and banners. Unique ad options overcome banner blindness and can be sold at a premium.

i installed it and it doesnt seem to add the sponsored post, it just shows as a regular post

The plugin will display sponsored posts above your other posts (or wherever you add a sponsor post block), but your existing theme will not have styling to differentiate sponsored posts. The plugin handles this in two ways, you can either update the sponsor template on the plugin settings page, or add CSS to your theme stylesheet for the "sponsor" CSS class. This way you can make sponsored posts match your theme, but still have custom formatting than your other posts.

Code:
.sponsor {
	border: 1px solid #808080;
	background-color: #FFFBCC;
}

I just posted a guide on adding custom styling to sponsored posts.

Please use the contact form on the site for support requests to contact me directly if you need any further assistance.

this small plugin looks yummy, it will work as great alternative for small income generators...you schould run refferal program on your site to increase the sales of the plugin.
