Spinning Cat Optical Illusion

It's an optical illusion. To make it switch direction, look at it out of the corner of your
eye, then you can look back once it's switched.

What in the hell? That's amazing. I completely don't understand how that is possible. Does anybody know how/why this is possible? Clearly we can't change the pixels.

Watch her spinning foot and then just decide which way you want it to go.

i still don't get this...i saw this around a year ago and can still only see them spin counter-clockwise. wtf.

lol ^ Focus on the foot, go blurry/squint for a while, force the foot to spin/counter in your brain, c'mon YOU CAN DOOOOET!

Once your brain decides it is going in one direction, it's gonna keep going in that direction until you get distracted from that thought. That's why it can change if you look at something besides the complete picture. I usually can get it to change at the end of the animation when it freezes for about 1/2 second before looping.
