[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEjCTdNH7Co]Should webmasters focus on more than just ranking in search results? - YouTube[/ame]

If you listen towards the end Matt Cutts says blackhatters will simply have to adapt - didn't say they were going to not-exist anymore. And if your a blackhatter, having good content - might work...?? Dafaq, lol...

At least, that's what I heard...

Carry on...

BTW, looks like OP lost the content skohh...

Social Media will always have a very poor ROI compared to SEO.

I've been spamming @MattCutts with Diet Pills for months and niggas still fat.

Just the links which are build naturally are working now in Google and all artificial rankings are getting hard hit.

Short: "You're a fucking idiot to count on us delivering you visitors forever, lol!"

Tell that to all the ex Payday/Casino spammers.

Most of you guys were doing it wrong to begin with ( im not saying YOU yourself Medway ).

You cant win in a SERP that is now being manually moderated, ever. Apply what you learned in new verticals.

I see people ranking with spam. It's therefore possible. Do some research.

We are always going to be making adjustments to our algorithm to reduce the ability of black-hatters to rank with spam and black-hat tools.

If a site is spam, tell us about it! Google takes spam extremely seriously, and investigates reported instances. You can file a spam report at: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/spamreport.

These reports are submitted directly to our webspam team and are used to devise scalable solutions to fight spam.

Just remember which SEO forum was there when nobody else cared Matt...
