I've a question.
I did a test sale with one of our direct merchants earlier today and found that it was not attributed to my account but to a whole other affiliate ID. I had just cleaned my cache so it was all clean. I did another and another and they both went into my account. Nobody has access to my server, and I checked the scripts but this concerns me.
I know they credit sales by the cookie. The cookie also had a different affiliate ID associated with it.
I'm looking for some software that'll hit a URL 10k times and check how many times the right promo code / affiliate id comes up (in the cookie) and how many times it's being overwritten by something that's not mine. Something is definitely going on here, but as always - I need proof.
I have no problem having to pay to have something like this built. I'm just not sure if it's at all possible, because you're basically reading a third party cookie.
