Hi guys long time now see :)

I've been trying to get my stuff moving towards a brighter future...

I've been messing around with blog comments, pinging, social bookmarki´ng and such. But the results I see really SUCK!

So is trading links with same niche RELEVANT websites still good as it was 5 years ago?

Also what else do you recommend for targetted traffic except for articles and links?

:)

Honestly, I think that NO link building is better than social bookmarking. Reason being, you are trying to manipulate the search results, which is against Googles' TOS. They will filter you out eventually.

Nothing wrong with swapping links though IMO.

Google has been saying for years and years that link trading is not good.. "do it sparingly" (not a real quote lol)

Social bookmarking on the other hand could be 100% natural and therefore indicate value in your site, you just have to either let it happen naturally or make it look natural.

But in my opinion/experience link trading still works, just don't overdo it.
