What do you guys think about going around the local area and seeing all the shitty websites of local businesses?

I have started offering SEO and Web Design services for small businesses in my area that need help advertising.

I've been doing this for a few months now and it's starting to pick up speed, but I've come to realize that I don't even have a website to represent the service I'm offering. (it's mostly been through word of mouth)

This is where I need your help

I'm trying to decide on how to brand the service I'm offering
Some of the small businesses are familiar with PPC and SEO, but I'm trying to have a broader perspective.

Which of these sounds best?

SEO / Web Design
Digital Marketing and Web Design
Internet Marketing

Should I come up with an entirely different brand like Green Tree (internet marketing and web design)

I mostly meet in person with customers so I was thinking about naming it locally. e.g. (Chicago Web Design and Marketing)

I am trying to decide on a domain name and whether or not to include the local area in it.

Based on your other threads, I think you should learn SEO before you try to sell it to people. You're basically scamming people, like 90% of the SEO companies and "social media consultants" out there.
 
I've provided this service for 2 companies already and they are satisfied with the leads they are getting. The whole point is to learn how to be more efficient. Basically I've been providing Adwords services, better keywords, and Facebook advertising. Just basic PPC, that most people can do themselves, but don't know how. Can you tell me more advanced methods of SEO? So I can do research on them? I just don't really know what to look for and I want to deepen my understanding of Internet Marketing.

What you're doing is a kin to selling a shit sandwich to a retard. They will eat it and might even enjoy it, but it doesn't mean you're offering anything of value.

Reading your previous posts, I can't tell if you're a troll or retarded.

I assume the latter, in which case I have a sandwich to sell you.
 
@mituozo that's a pretty cool theme there... where can I get good themes that have social media built in?

@acidie thanks for your astute observation! Last time I checked marketing fake SEO testimonials and links and shit like that doesn't offer anything of value. At least I am helping local businesses get more leads. Now I just have to make it more efficient and market myself better to offer these services. It's pretty easy money and that's what this is all about right? Free Domain, $100 for web hosting (1yr) $400 for Web Design, $200 for setting up Google Adwords, another $200 to set up facebook. $100 to set up social media and $100 a month for residual maintenance. say what you want, but $1000 for a day's work seems pretty good to me
 
You should learn the different kinds of SEO what to offer. Is it White Hat, Grey or Black Hat then start making these offers:

1. Content Marketing
Blog Commenting
Article Marketing

2. Social Bookmarking
3. Article and Directory Submission
4. Paid Links
 
Just leave out "Web Design" and go with Digital or Internet Marketing depending on what you'll be offering. I don't know what theme you're talking about though, it was a link to SEOMoz. If you're talking about WordPress, many themes have some sort of social media integration, and there are plenty of plugins you can find.
