I've had a cpap for little over a year now. you get used to it so it's not really a pain in the ass. I actually feel much more rested after a good nights sleep since the apnea doesn't wake me up throughout the night, which is what is happening. If you take the sleep study, you get hooked up to about 25 wires and they monitor you overnight. Usually, with sleep apnea, you 'wake up' over 40+ times throughout the night without even realizing it, so you don't really get proper sleep.
