When the "eye" opens in the video it's terrifyingly awesome.

Car manufacturers have used fabric skins in the past so the idea is not as crazy as people might think.
I'm not on crack, I'm just not into new age vehicles. I like classics. This looks like a space ship.
That's the catch, it's free. You just have to go steal it from the BMW museum in Germany. They are still playing with the design so I understand so no mass marketing yet.
The most awesomest BMW currently on the market is the Fisker Tramonto ... it's a 6 series that's been uberfied:

As far as older stuff goes, I was always partial to the original 750 and the M1.

Cadillac's designs were inspired by Buck Rogers' cover art. All those fins were supposed to look like how people thought space ships would look, with fins and aerodynamic bits.
As for Batmobiles, the other day I saw a black '72 Corvette Stingray.
If it had had fins over the back wheels, it would have been the batmobile! That was a really trippy moment.
