Well lets just go on a wim here and say I did have a veryyyy profitable site. What's stopping someone from copying all the source code and calling it their own?

Still more detail, what sort of code or source code, is it html, or have you made a script in php, perl, etc, are you going to sell the said code or script or just display it on your site(s). You could use ion cube, phpshield, Zend, but some might say to not encode your hole script ,license it and just encode the license part of it and ensure it uses an external call to your own servers every so often.

Images, watermark and prevent users from hot-linking them.

All your site are belong to us...

Wow! Talk about a throwback quote! Nice!

You know what, if you are trying to protect your content and images, just be legally copyrighted. The only way to truly battle is through the court system. Otherwise, there is no invincible protection to anything that is freely up online for everyone to see (which everyones websites are if you are into internet marketing). Good luck!

OP - Even if someone copies your content, and throws it up on a new domain, they still don't have your traffic.
