Hi guys which is much better? Single Opt-In or Double Opt-In need good idea on this..

A quadruple optin.

That way - if they try to complain or unsubscribe, you stick a gun in their mouth and slowly make them realize the correct decision.

ill be nice and answer - theres many reasons for doube option but the main thing ull see is spam bots sumbmitting zillions emails daily to ur forms.

I do the following:

1) user submits email form on my site
2) user clicks link in email to verify they want to receive
3) that page takes them to form to capture phone number and address
4) they must click a link in text message to verify they want to receive my emails and post a letter to Grindstone confirming this also
5) Grindstone sends them a letter back with my address
6) They have to visit my address and tell me in person they want to receive my emails

After these steps I have a 0% drop off rate.

Currently I get about 5000 people completing step 1 every day, 4500 step 2, 500 step 3, 50 step 4, 5 step 5, and so far one person has visited my house, unfortunately he turned up with a crowbar and 3 of his friends, and demanded I give him his free eBook on a USB stick. I handed it over and now regularly send him emails to see how he is getting on with my gardening course. He has a beautiful garden growing, and I earn 50c rev share on every packet of seeds he buys.
