Single Character Domains?

How much are single character domains with two letter extensions going for these days? If they are cheapish I was thinking of getting as an email address just for shits and giggles.

The only single character domain I know of is g.cn - which is owned by Google.

Sold them for a few hundred bucks.

x.com used to redirect to paypal, now it's some kind of beta paypal developer blog ... will be looking into that

Looked around some more and it seems like they generally go for a couple hundred+insane yearly renewal fees. Unless I can find one dirt cheap I think I'm going to have to pass.

there are quite a few single letter .am and .fm's available but the registrar charges you thousands a year to register them.

Why did you expect them to be cheap? Mathematically they are the most rare type of domain.
