SimplyNamed.Com - dissapearing registrar!

Does anyone here use SimplyNamed.com?

I snapped a domain a week ago and it unfortunately landed with them and now they have dissapeared.

To begin with, their admin would crash any time I tried to update the name servers.

Then they never answered any emails or voicemails.

Now today their website is down and the phone number is disconnected!!!!

Have I just totally lost this domain?

Stay away from Simply Names (Best Registrar)

SimplyNamed.com is a shell for BestRegistrar.com. The "owner" of Simply Named is the sister of the owner of BestRegistrar.com.

Best Registrar is ran by a moron. He has done several deals that are illegal and unethical. SimplyNamed is probably a ploy to divert money from Best Registrar creditors.

Simply put stay away from SimlplyNamed and BestRegistrar.

Sorry for your trouble. I do not know the best course of action. There might be a formal complaint process with Internic or IANA.

I filed a complaint at Internic this morning.

This was the first domain I had end up over there after snapping it.

I'm not sure if or how I can transfer it if the registrar holding the domain can't send me an email to confirm.
