Hi, I'm Greg... I'm new here, this would be one of my first posts.
Anyways, a while back, I made Simple-IP.com, a website to find out your IP Address. After I made it, I pretty much forget about it.
Recently though, I thought about putting ads on it, or monetizing it. I thought CPM would be the best way to go, since most visitors stay on my site for less than a minute (what are you going to do for more than a minute anyways?)
I tried AuctionAds, which my friend recommended to me, but they didn't pay CPM, so right now I'm using WidgetBucks.
That isn't really working out for me, so far I have a grand total of 88 cents.
I didn't want to go with AdSense, because frankly, I can't really (I'm only 13, I - nor my parents - want to supply my SSN).
Which brings me to my two main questions:
1) What is a good CPM advertising program to employ on my site, and
2) What is the most effective way to advertise/get visitors to my site?*
*I thought about using different domains for a niche purpose, for example, I know that many gamers need to know their IP Addresses for network gaming, and of course IT Consultants. Would this be a good idea?
Any help would be appreciated; thanks in advance.
