SigStatus.com is a website which allows you to generate status images for five popular instant messengers (MSN, Yahoo Messenger, AIM, Skype and ICQ). There is no registering involved on the website; you basically just need to generate your signature.
Each signature is dynamically created, if there is a change in the status on one of the instant messengers the server will be notified and the changes will be made when the image is refreshed.

As you can see the code is provided for you in HTML format and in a BBCODE format.
The website itself is very efficient as at the moment the main scripts aren't connected to any databases and there is no need for bots (which may fail).
The website doesn't need much in the area of webspace or bandwidth, its just images being created dynamically.
As long as your server has PHP and the GD image library installed there will be no problems hosting it. I can rig it up to a database to record the searches and image views if you wanted, this wouldn't take me very long to sort out; just a bit of tweaking of the script.
The website has been running for just under a week and I haven't had time to advertise the website properly, this means there isn't a huge amount of traffic. The domain was registered the day the website was launched (2nd October) so you would have near enough a year left on the domain, which is registered at NameCheap so there will be a free push to your account.
I was going to develop this website further by accommodating more instant messenger programs and showing the status of the accounts in a variety of different ways, such as flash. However, because of some circumstances I'm forced to sell.
