Hi, Guys I'am interested in signing up for CJ.com , to be a Ebay Affiliate. Went over to affiliates.ebay.com and reviewed the sign-up process and noticed in the required fields that CJ wants Website Name & URL.

Personally don't have a website and wanted to ask to those individuals you have sign-up successfully what type of website/blog did you provide for sign-up?

Appreciate it, BlazingFire

They will approve pretty much anything imo

just make sure you dont have bad plans for ebay or cj because they will can u fast!

I signed up for CJ a few years ago and didn't have a website at all at the time. I just made up a website name and didn't even enter a URL. I don't know if things have changed since then, but I had no problem.
You could always just make a free site at weebly.com or wordpress.com if you're worried about it.

How are you planning on promoting anything without a web site?

Just buy a domain and some cheap hosting. They aren't going to deny you for having an undeveloped site if that's your concern.

i signed up using a geocities website mock-up long long time ago and they approved me. :)
i dont know now if they are not particular with new applications.

good luck!

I've never had a problem signing up for the networks. My problem has been with the individual programs that require manual acceptance. Because they make you enter a site and they only let you enter one "Primary" site, (you can put others in the additional section) but I don't think the people doing the approvals look that far. If the primary site isn't in the same niche as them they decline the application, even though I added in the notes the correct site I'd be using.

Usually an email or two will fix it but that can sometimes take a week or more, depending on how quickly they respond, if at all...
