SHTML vs PHP includes

Remember when the best way to use includes was to run SHTML on your site and have the includes that way?

Does anyone still use that method or do you prefer to use PHP includes?

Php includes all the way. Of course my sites are coded in php, so this seems logical for me to use php includes.

The only people I know who still use SSI are old dogs who won't learn the new tricks.

Doesn't make them bad, just old.

I use php includes myself. It's what I use for "templating" my sites.
