Ok, well I was over on some other sites like BHW and shit. And I was reading about people getting c&ds/sued/raped etc etc about trademarks in their domains.

Im currently making a review site for this product. My review site goes like this: www."productname"reviews.com. But you see the way I am doing it, is I say that I wasnt satisfied with "productname" and I was happy with "new product".

Should I be worried, and should I find something else or should I ball out and hope for the best?

Im only gonna try to rank for "produtname review" or "productname reviews" not "product name" (obviously ill rank for it, but hopefully itll be like page 30 or something lol. If I only ranked for the above mentioned kws would my chances of being left alone increase?

And say I were to piss em off, what would most likely come, a c&d? Get sued? Get raped by a blackman name bubba?
 


I think the only way you can get away with any sites like that (in the same manner that paypalsux.com and such exists) is that you must allow public feedback, because once you start allowing people on the web to place feedback it becomes more of a 1st amendment issue than a trademark or slander/libel issue.

Course if you want a real answer, consult with an attorney.

If they can prove that you registered the domain that uses their mark with the intent to profit from it, you'll lose the domain in arbitration. Shitting on their product and promoting a competitors might be enough to piss them off to the point of filing suit. Depends on the company you are fucking with.

It's not worth the risk. Don't put months of SEO work into the domain only to get a cease and desist notice... Start again.

Yep, I guess Im gonna get a new domain. I think if my domain was xxxreviews.com but it was promoting the product, not pissing on it, I think I'd be OK, hell the company would be happy. But yah, now that I think about it a cease and desist would be NICE of them insteade filing suit for lost profit or whatever, since im pissing on their product + trying to promote a competiros product:food-smiley-010:

Damn, with my domain + low competition I could of ranked for it well pretty easily :P

I have no money in my PP and xfering cash from my bank account takes like 5 business days :angryfire: Looks like Ill do some article writing, and buy a .info.

There are SO many ways to make money on the internet. I would focus on a tactic that doesn't put your business (and your finances) at risk.
