Thers this site thats being registered on my name. Im getting a good deal for it. The Spark Plug... Ive looked at the stats and its bad...(0) no back-links, no pr nothing....the chap selling it to me is giving it away at a real cheap rate...I wana know what you guys think of it..

Its an internet marketing/ seo site that needs some work done.. Im having second thoughts coz with regard to link building theres a lot of work to be done. i dont think the site is indexed yet as well...
What you guys think? is the site worth the trouble?

no keyword in your domain name that has anything to do with SEO = not good
it needs more than "some" work done...

I wouldn't waste my time with it....
 
well, the flash definitely needs to be removed.
for the domain , i was looking into redirection.
the keyword is a pain in the rear end, i know.
problem is i dont know where to start. this is more of a challenge for me....so i need to deliver something..

It's a nothing domain. the-sparkplug? Please. You can buy any number of crappy hyphenated .coms. The domain is useless for so many reasons.

As for the site, it would have to be completely redone anyway.

So you might as well register a .com that is useful, and build the site you really need, from scratch.
 
thing is i need to get this site up and running anyhow...it being registered on my name one way or another...so basically i have it...i need to do something on it....its a challenge i know...but need to do something.
 
Uhhhh... you make no sense whatsoever. If it's a forgone conclusion that you are having this site put in your name (for whatever reason) then why are you asking us "Should I go For It?".

Coz ive taken up a really shitty challenge and i need to deliver...the point is that i asked if i should go for it coz of the reason that the work which needs to be done has a crap load of stuff and i was wondering if i should live up to the challenge...as i have said yes to the offer, i just need to know what the %^&*( to do.
 
fatbat, the way i see it is that im gona try to do this...il do something on it for a month or two and if that dsnt work out,,,dumpster- here is comes.....sometimes i kick myself for being a gambler...%^&*
 
You are really not making any sense.

Why did you HAVE to pick it up?
What are your goals?

Was this a bet or what?

And why a SEO site? Why not make it either
a) a site about motivation (a new spark for your life)?
b) a site selling spark plugs for automobiles (nice DB on compatibility / buyers guide)?
c) a site selling electricity sex toys?
...
etc..
