Some online marketers claim to have done well in more than one niche. If this really happened within the past 10 years did they("you" if you have done this) actually build up a complete website with a lot of content or just create a funnel to promote a certain product/service?

Bonus Question: Once you are doing selling service/product #1 do you just abandon the website?

Hello there! Here are my answers:

In my opinion, one of the factors that contributed to their success is the way their market their websites. Consider my situation as an example, I run a couple of sites and sign up as an affiliate to integrate an offerwall from OfferDaddy into my site. This allows me to earn more money aside from the contents I'm making. Of course, it also means that they have to update their contents from time to time to meet the current demands of their target audiences.

As for your bonus question, once you reach #1, you have to keep doing the things that made you the best and not just abandon the site...:)

Hope this helps!:)

That's a good idea to build a strategic affiliate marketing. In my view, the most important thing is to select your own niche affiliate program that meet the current or potential demenads of the market, then decide your appriciate methods for affiliate marketing.

Never abandon your website! If it has reached the target you set for it, then you can increase your target and keep working to make it bigger and better. Internet marketing is constantly changing. If this website was successful to begin with, why abandon it at all? Keep learning and stay connected with your audience.
