I've been a member for a while here but my background lies mostly in software development. I know some SEO, since I ranked a few sites some time ago but mostly know what I should Not do :) since the penguin panda updates.

I recently created a product with the according site with it. competition is medium for my keyword.

910 000 results found in google when putting in quotes and up to page 10 in google most results have the keyword in the title.

and also purchased linkaloha last month and am ranking on page 4 (not sure if it has anything to do with it)... though I am a bit suprised that they offer like 5 social links a day in order to rank your site... seems very low to me especially compared with other services...

I also purchased some d0-fllow contextual web 2.0 posts from high pr domains yesterday.

I was wondering what my best strategy would be.

send backlinks to the newly bought web 2.0's perhaps?
get some more quality backlinks directly to the site?
Social links?
etc....

thanks for any advice,

Spam + Authority links = Magic

But every site / niche responds differently. Look at the top 10 in your SERP, go from there.

Thanks for the answer... What tools do you use to analyse the top 10?

I suppose you mean the backlink profile of the top 10...
