Howdy all!

Digging into these delicious posts on WF and wondering a few things.

Trying to follow a few methods and wondering if I have to get into SerpIQ and all these other paid programs/monthly subscriptions for getting stuff going.

Isn't it:

1. Pick niche & domain
2. Write content
3. Build links
4. Hopefully profit??

Obviously steps 1-4 involve much ;D

Yes and SerpIQ greatly speeds up step one so you have more time for the other ones. Not only that but once you do have a site you can keep up with competition a lot easier.

@medway: Thanks for the information! What other things do you think I need to know?

I'm guessing that the 4th step: "Hopefully profit??", is either based upon:

A. Affiliate AD placement (email submits, sales, etc.)
B. G AdSense, others of this type
C. Direct promotion of your own e-book, product, service
D. All of the above + more probably??

I'm a total newb. I know a lot of the setup of things but need to delve straight into experiencing the ups/downs of projects and hopefully start to figure out what things can work for me?

Much love to you all @ WF. It's amazing that so many are so willing to share so much.

Is this Industry not flooded? Guess it isn't THAT bad if people are willing to share, hoping that I'm right in the fact that as the Internet grows larger, there will be more chances for Affiliate Marketing/Internet Marketing =)

Good luck to you!

If you want to find out the revenue potential for those keywords ( if your gonna use adsense ), hit up RevenueWoo.com

The best way to learn is to just go ahead and do it.

Good luck bros!

Absolutely!! About to start a domain tomorrow and get all this posting glory going, thanks for the well wishes!

I am really looking forward to seeing a few pennies clear my AdSense account in the next few weeks (HOPING).

Work - then the glory will come!

Huge thanks to all!~

Quick question - using the G keyword tool, that competition is slightly relevant to general competition but more relevant to the competition of others bidding those keywords right? So,a low competition may still mean high competition in the AdSense game? Anyway I can check this for free?

Ok, so I am trying out serpIQ, holy mother....that is a lot of information!

The problem I'm finding is that keywords with 1k-10k searches often come back saying "can expect 10 visitors a day, 300 a month, etc." which is waaay too low for AdSense.

So does this mean I need to be doing high competition stuff to have AdWords pay? Which means a lot longer for the potential payoff?

not necessarily, as oftentimes you'll be trying to rank a site for a handful of keywords instead of just one. You can expect more traffic because of long tails as well

AWESOME! Thank you =)

So, short tail being 'credit card'

Long tail being 'top 10 reasons to get a credit card'
'top 10 credit card companies'
'good interest rates on credit cards'
'what you need to know about credit cards'

etc.??

So, this means I can take a SUPER HIGH competition keyword and still whore it out???

Yes, you can whore out a super high competition keyword if you targeting low competition long tail keywords associated with that keyword.
