SEO & TV Show Synopsis

I was wondering if copying and pasting a tv show plot synopsis on my website would have a negative effect on my rankings?

The actual article is around 300 - 450 words and contains not only the synopsis (which I want to copy and paste) but a uniquely written article about the show.

Anyone have any experience with this? Would it be beneficial for me to modify the synopsis a bit, or am I over analyzing?

I think it would be best if you create something new and fresh out of that content. Like stating a positive opinion about the show, or something like that.
