Obviously it's better to have 2 keywords without a hypen and .com.
I have heard .net is a bit better than .org but probably doesn't matter that much.

here's my question - which is better for serps (not worried about branding)

1. brazil-hotties.net
or
2. brazilhotties.org (no hyphen but .org)

those aren't my keywords - sorry to distract you with that

Hypen's or no hyphen hardly matters much in terms of SEO (as the guru's say and I also feel the same), but I would still go in for [Keyword].org rather than [Key-word].net as I personally feel the [Keyword].org would be easier to get ranked.

I just subscribed to the thread, as the replies are going to be interesting.

.org, no hyphen over .net, always. .com hyphen to no hyphen .org, that would be a close call.

I hate .net, so .org. Aside from my personal animosity there's going to be a negligible (if any) difference, so just pick one the one that looks the best.

Once you get to the stage of having enough juice to rank for a fairly competitive keyword it's not going to matter what extension you have or whether there is a hyphen, Google doesn't give a shit about that it gives a shit about how much of an 'authority' your site is.

I love .org's and have had good luck with them in the past, but I would say it depends on the niche. Education, Business, Health etc lend themselves to .org whereas Dating, Games, Entertainment, Tech probably lend themselves to .net in user's minds.
Of course .com is always best, but in terms of SERP's it won't make any difference.
