Do you guys think a SEO/Design company is more sucessful in the long-run with a brandable domain, or a SEO related domain?

For example, something like Blue Monkey vs. Blue Media SEO.

Or does the name really matter at all?

Think of what you want your company to be called and let that dictate what your domain will be.
If you're looking long term and want to have a good, catchy brand, I think you're better off using that as a domain. SEO isn't everything. If you make a good website, with the users in mind and don't focus mainly on SEO, you'll have a good chance of being successful.

Think of all the huge websites on the web... they didn't give a crap about seo domains:
groupon, twitter, wickedfire (wtf does that have to do with webmaster discussion), warriorforums.

Think about it

Serious business = brandable domain

This.

Also, I always feel a company with an SEO domain is kinda cheap. Building a solid brand is more important in the long run anyway, but I guess it depends on what kind of brand you're trying to build.

Is it high quality and trustworthy? Go for a brandable domain.
