Hey everyone,

I'm pretty new to Search Engine Marketing and I've been doing some tests. Yesterday afternoon I added about 200 keywords to my list of about 100. I received 3 leads within 3 hours of adding the new keywords. I decided I liked those results and added about 1,000 more keywords.

I haven't gotten any leads today and I'm a little worried I might have screwed up. Are more keywords better? I figure I will get more clicks which will equal more I have to pay for cpc, but it will hopefully mean more leads as well?

Thoughts?

What affiliate company are you using?

Sorry I can't help you with your question, because that is my next step after I get this arbitrage thing down. But I would assume that adding keywords would not affect your existing keywords. Probably just a normal up and down in the market.

More keywords are of course better. You didn't negate your previous lead generating keywords by adding more. CPA leads are up and down, with only 3 the previous day it would be quite normal to get 0 today or 9 today. Expect huge swings when doing SEM.
