As for the AM twist on it, I think you'd do pretty fucking nicely with a few different angles.
If they fail between level 3-5, send them to a ring tone site
Fail between 6-10, iPod offer
11-14, hi-fi offer if you can find one, or whitelabel one into existence
If they succeed, pitch them one of those "you can win $5000" ones instead.

Call it a 2nd chance draw for the failures, and simply have an email submit or some shit at the end because people should be able to realise that they're not the only ones "smart" enough to get through 15 videos.
