I seem to remember someone on this forum linking to a service that allows you to see where links such as tinyurl.com go.

I can't find that thread again, and Google's not showing me anything. Anybody know of such a service?

The link I am looking for is a website that allows you to submit a link and it tells you where it will redirect. Thanks for that, but it is not what I was looking for. The links are not actually tinyurl links.
 
Interesting. Operation of linknark is near identical to, but more awkward than, the above greasemonkey scripts.

Sorry skittled, I've never used Greasemonkey scripts before and so wasn't sure how to use it. +rep
 
no no, didn't have a problem with it, just intriguing to start seeing websites built around such small ideas.

greasemonkey's awesome, too. do take a look at it.
