Scraping Google Places

I'm clueless when it comes to this, but what would it entail to find a scraper that could scrape Google Places for certain information.

I'm looking to add a location (zip code or town) and have it find listings that are not claimed. I'd want to get the business name and contact info.

Is that easy or difficult?
