Has anyone considered putting Freebie offers at the bottom of their ringtone landing pages?

Has anyone considered putting Freebie offers at the bottom of their ringtone landing pages?

I've seen people do it before. Trouble is, a lot of the ringtone landing pages aren't hosted by the affiliates.

I would be worried about my paid for traffic leaking through the low paid free offers instead of focusing on the high paying offer.

I'd think an interstitial page of some sort would be more appropriate

The interstatial page would definitely drive my paid traffic to the cheaper offer. I'm thinking of just a simple banner at the bottom to capitalize on the traffic demographic.

Once my ringtone campaign stabilizes, I'll have to do some split testing and let you all know the results.

Shoemoney has discussed doing this on his blog, I've done it with adsense with decent results.

I haven't tried this yet but as others stated i would hate to lose higher converts on the ringtone for a 1.00 or 2.00 freebie.
