I know this a stupid question but w.e

When blog commenting, I always ping the page I commented on

So if its

HTML:
http://howtobegay.com/suck_more_dick

I ping that.

But I was/am wondering if pinging my actual comment is more effective, and if I should be doing that.

For example:

HTML:
http://howtobegay.com/suck_more_dick/comment#435435

So which one should I be pinging/turning into an RSS feed?

The first URL (the page) or the second(my actual comment).

</retardedquestion>

I don't know the definitive answer to this, but I'm relatively sure that when a spider crawls a URL, it simply scrapes the entire source for new links that aren't in it's index, so pointing it towards an in-page anchor shouldn't be any more effective.

Alright, so I'm fine just doing what I normally do and just pinging the page and not the actual comment.

Thanks guys!

wow, maybe a better blog comment example next time will keep you off the gaydar lol. haha just messin man.
