I'm building a site and I want it to support mobile. Now I know the trend is "responsive design", and I've seen a few examples of how it works, but I don't really understand the technical part of it, and I don't want to.

I know there are responsive themes out there (I'm using drupal for this project), but because I lack the tech understanding on the subject, I don't really understand what to look for. Do these responsive themes support mobile out of the box, or there's need to write additional code?

Basically what I'm looking for is an out-of-the-box solution, without need to write additional code, or to hire someone.

Any advice and guidance appreciated.

I was hoping to find a theme ready to be deployed, without need to write css.
Not even sure such a thing exists tho.. again i don't really understand the insides..

Responsive wp themes are ready for mobile. Test out the demos with your phone.

I like studiopress if u want more designs i recommend themeforest.

There are some nice free themes as well. Search wickedfire for emp's post

Wow, all these helpful responses in the face of blatant Boob icon abuse. This place is gettin too soft.

OP. You've been here since 2008 and should damn well know better.

haha note taken

Obviously not, because I still see no boobs.

ps didnt really get any helpful advice so far :)

And you don't deserve any without boobs. I'm sure going boobless when using the boob icon is a ban.

Maybe if you filled your thread with tits, someone might be more inclined to help because they get what they came for, rather then clicking and feeling suicidal at the total lack of chesticles and lose the ability to read your first post.

I can't handle all these people lately... When it gets pointed out that they used the boob icon incorrectly, they get all snarky instead of FUCKING POSTING SOME TITS.

FUCK YOU OP.

FUCK YOU ALL THE WAY TO HELL 12 INCHES AT A TIME.

If you don't understand what hotlinking is, then drupal is probably too much for you. Perhaps get a weebly site instead.

you can hire people to make a responsive design for you $50 from Euro countries. Romania, Spain, etc have been very helpful for me in requests for upgrades to my custom sites.
