Reduced Price Trials with Paypal?

I sell my own info-products and process payments via paypal.

Is there a way to offer a reduced-price trial, then charge the remainder a few days later? (e.g. - product price is $39, charge $9.99 up front, then the remaining $30 after 7 days. Like you so often see on clickbank products.)

I know you can do trials with subscriptions, but you're required to have at least two payments after the trial period ends. I just wanna have the trial period then the remainder charged.

Can't seem to figure out a way to do it in paypal and searching hasn't resulted in any answers. Wondering if anyone had any ideas.

You can set the price as well, instead of free.

Edit: Never mind, didn't read the subscription part in OP.

Looks like you can do it in JVZoo by setting up a subscription with your trial price, then only one billing cycle set to the remainder of the purchase price. It's not overly intuitive, but this video helps:

Offer a trial period with a base price of $39.99. Then use 2x Trial Period, Put in $9.99 for the trial period for 7 days then check the box below it, do you want another trial period? After 7 days again charge $30
