Sorry if this is the wrong spot to ask this, but it seems like the best to me.

On a WordPress site, how do you setup which image shows up when a link is shared to Reddit? It's not based on the featured image and on a few of my sites doesn't even pull the first image on the page.

Perhaps my Google-fu is failing me, but I can't find an answer using the ol' google box, so I thought I'd see if anyone here had a suggestion.

Once I shared a page on Reddit and it used an image from a previous although completely unrelated page. So sometimes the images bug out but in my experience it uses the first image it comes across after the </head> tag.

But I've only shared like 40 pages on Reddit so I wouldn't bank on this.

I guess I'm glad the random image pulling isn't just me :1bluewinky:
