Ray Bradbury Dead: 'Fahrenheit 451' Author Dies At 91

One of my favorite authors, just finished rereading The Martian Chronicles last week.

That feel when I was the only kid in my class who actually enjoyed reading Fahrenheit 451... RIP

I haz a sad... But glad he got to see the transit of venus, Ray would have liked that.

I read his entire published works around 2000, including all of those silly short stories that were about as much sci-fi as leave it to beaver was... At the time I didn't appreciate them at all but I realized that Ray wasn't as much of a science fiction guy at heart as he was a student of human nature.

Now that I'm awake to Voluntaryism, I'd bet he's written some great stuff on the subject as well... Likely published under a pen name though to protect his family from our evil gubmint.
