Random WordPress Post to Bufferapp

It seems like between sitemaps, RSS, IFTTT, Pipes and maybe some custom code, there'd be a way to grab a random published post from a WordPress site and feed it into Buffer. While it seems like there's a way, I sure as hell haven't been able to figure it out. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?
 


Assuming the Wordpress blog is your own, couldn't you use PHP from within Wordpress to query the posts table for a random post and then send it to Buffer using their API?
 
Sounds entirely reasonable, but also beyond my skill level. I'm more of a hack together existing code person unfortunately. But at least I have an idea of what to ask a programmer to do. Anyone here want to let me know how much it would cost to make such a thing?
