I recently dreamt up a business model where the product/service would be sold over mobile phones. It's incredibly unique and I'm starting research to determine if it is feasible/profitable opportunity and if so may write a business plan to seek venture funding.
I suppose my first question is the most important. As I see it, there would currently be 3 ways to activate this product/service from your cellular phone:
Currently this is just an "idea" but it is possible to implement, doesn't currently exist and it would be very useful. I've asked the opinions of many people who all loved the idea. Unfortunately, like most of my ideas, it will likely cost several hundred thousand dollars to implement and so I could just be wasting a lot of time....
We'll see... thanks in advance!
I suppose my first question is the most important. As I see it, there would currently be 3 ways to activate this product/service from your cellular phone:
- TEXTING - Through specific companies that set up the "text the word FREE to 3575 and we'll send you a joke a day..."?
- Downloadable Cell Apps. The same way your cell comes preprogrammed with the ability to download tones from xringer or various games or ESPN service, a custom app could be created for this product/service. However, convincing cellular companies it is worthy of being included in the "prepackaged" phone would probably be very difficult.
- A website that is cellular browser friendly. I'm guessing all business will start migrating this direction and basically nullify the need for the first two possibilities.
