Quick way to buy domains with PR and backlinks?

I'm trying to buy PR2 domains with some age and I think there has to be a quicker way then my current method.

Right now I go to https://www.tdnam.com/trpHome.aspx and search for my keywords, then manually put each domain into the browser to check PR. If there's PR, I check out the back links and age. I'm looking at domains under $100, so it takes awhile till I find ones with PR.

Is there some site or software that can speed up this process?
 


Is this only for quick traffic? How long does the traffic last before the PR drops because of all the site changes... sorry for the newbie questions. Is this only for putting adsense or affiliate links on?

I've just started to study seo (I didn't even know the importance of PR until recently) and read that if you buy a brand new domain Google will put you in the sandbox after 4 months or so. Apparently the way around this is to buy an aged domain. No clue if this actually works. As for the PR I was thinking the same as you...makes sense it would drop. But I've read mixed thoughts on this and figured I might as well test out an aged domain with PR.

Maybe a SEO person can chime in and clear things up.
 
So basically you can buy these domains and get instant more weight from Google from the backlinks.

Plus for those who have some traffic, traffic for free ?

Don't these all have.. high resale potential? :eek:

CAn someone also clarify this for me - does once that website say that domain has "expired" mean that you can register it yourself? Or the owner can still register it back for a certain period of time ?
 
I've always had good luck with these names and not dropping in PR. Just make sure you promote the site and get links to it and you should be able to keep the PR high. As far as resale value, if you throw a quick site on it and get some traffic, you can make some money flipping them pretty easy. I can usually get a blog with a few decent articles up on a PR site and easily get $50-75 for it.
 
If you are just after the pagerank, check for fake pagerank before you buy. The pr 5 on SEO Domains right now is actually redirected to another domain. So you wouldn't get much value from that.

The domains on the list in my sig has all been verified, no fake-pagerank there.

So Your main concern is that Google will put your site in a Sandbox.

You can always burst out of it check this or use Compbizz.com - Your Preferred Service Provider : Burst out of the Sandbox!.

BINGO! we have a winner...

also, one of the easiest ways I've found to keep most or all of the PR from expired domains is to rip as much of the old site from archive.org as you can... then change stuff, add more content, remove anything you can get sued for, etc...
 
so even if you build a site that is "relevant" and doesn't necessary start off with traffic or back links, google automatically places you in the sandbox with a brand new domain?
 
Uh, what MSandB said. I have not had any new domains sit in the sandbox for 4 months. ...maybe 4 days....

It all depends on what you are trying to achieve with these domain names.

tdnam listings are overpriced and mostly junk if not all junk, i do not think that any site you buy from there under $100 is worth it unless it is $5 , i would also try to worry less about the sandbox effect.

Like i said before... it all depends on what you are trying to achieve.
