Can you copy articles from other sites, as long as you give proper cites, give the auther who wrote the article credit and post a link to the site where the article originated? Thanks

yes you can but it wont do any good for your site if 90% of the articles are copy pasted from somewhere else..

There are plugins that are designed to pulled content from various sources and post it directly on your site. So yes, you can do that but it will be much more difficult to rank your website as opposed to using original content.

If you think about article directories like Eziearticles for example... this is exactly what the articles published over there are meant to be used for.

So, yes.... totally fine as long as you keep the author info box with their back link in tact.

As far as I can say.. "usually" if you give credit or a linkback to the original post, than most authors are fine with it. If not, they can easily send you an email asking you to take it down.

Why not ask permission first? You don't go into a convenience store and swipe a candy bar thinking if the owner wants to be paid for it, he'll send you a message or call you on the phone. You don't go to a party at some acquaintance's house and take a DVD or CD, thinking if the guy really doesn't want you to have it, he'll find a way to get in touch with you.

Don't take things that don't belong to you. Period. You want something? Ask permission. Give the owner the respect they deserve and the opportunity to make the decision. If you just take something without asking, that's called stealing.

No you cant do any copy paste wok from other articles pr blogs, if you do so you will be caught as it should pass copyscape
