I've been editing videos for many years now. for year or so i've been using Pinnacle Studio 14 HD to edit almost all my videos because its easy to use and its quickly become my favorite studio yet. However i've been running into several problems. first off the studio says its HD, however when I load 1080p footage taken from my canon T2i it looks like TOTAL ****. and so is the deal with all my other HD cameras. I have edited footage from my GoPro HD shot in both 720p, 960p, and 1080i and the results are always the same. There is a serious and truly pathetic decrease in video quality. Videos that were recorded on a sony handycam with 5 megapixles looks twice as good as videos i shoot with my 18 megapixle T2i when i edit it. Also, there is a serious problem with rendering videos. it takes longer than the clip itself to render it in the studio. My guess is that my crappy 1.8ghz processor cant handle it despite the fact that i have an upgraded graphics card and 8gb ram. any help would be greatly appreciated
