I've got two EMD's I've purchased recently. Both I checked before purchasing and neither had any links pointed at them.
I checked each with wayback machine and the sites weren't very nice and were really thin.
For the first one I've drip-fed 10 unique articles over the course of a month and a half. I'm currently slowly hitting it with bookmarks (about 10/day over the course of homepage and the innerpages) and high pr blog posts over the course of ten days.
I'm targetting about 5 keywords (not to mention longtails). And the site doesn't register for any keywords, anywhere. Google, yahoo, and bing.
When I search for the sitename in google, the first that comes back is my site, so it's indexed, just no recognition in SERP's.
I've got another site I started recently and it's looking like the same thing is happening, usually I start a site and it at least shows up somewhere in the SERP's.
Both are in google webmaster tools and neither registers penalties.
Any ideas or ways to research emd's to not get one of these buggers?
