PS3 invokes HDTV price drops!

I hope to the great gamer in the sky this isn't a rumour! Playstation 3's release is apparently going to have Sony drop major prices on their HDTVs in a marketting attempt to get more gamers to switch to the PS3.

This will be very nice if it ends up happening!

I dunno, the Wii still seems a lot more appealing, the PS3 just seems so similar to the PS2, just fancier graphics, and if i want graphics i just go to my PC, go the Nintendo Wii!

I'm sorry, but I think the PS3 looks like crap. Videos are rendered in slow-mo, because I figure the games themselves are lagging. The archetecture is absolutely bizzarre. It's horrible for developers compared to the 360.

Xbox 360 and Wii all the way.

I agree,Sony seem to have lots of issues to resolve and dropping prices on their HDTV wont make the PS3 a better games platform
