Prosper202 - Linux or Windows Server ?

Hey,

Just a quick newbie question - not a techy so be gentle.

I have contacted my host who I am hositn ga couple of domains with in the hope I can self host prosper202 - they have said my domains are hosted on Windows servers and I would need Linux for prosper to work - is this correct ? Do I need to upgrade ?

And what is the advantage of self hosting as opposed to using Tracking 202 ?

i would switch over to linux its better over all in my opinion. havent use P202 so im not sure.

I'd defiantly go with Linux.

Linux isn't really an upgrade - they are the same price at most hosts - but Linux is much better, of course.

Yes but if you take 20 minutes and change the code you can place it inside of a subfolder instead of giving it its own domain.

I think that was one of the biggest code fuck ups they made but other then that its excellent software.
