Theres so much bitching on this forum so I thought I'd throw in a good review for escrowdns. I don't buy and sell domains on a regular basis but I've used them twice now, once a buyer and once as a seller and both times the transaction was quick and painless. As the name implies they're a escrow service exclusively for domain sales so unlike escrow.com they actually know what they're doing.

With escrow.com they have the seller push directly to the buyer and verify that the domain has been pushed based on whois information. Obviously this is an easy system to scam because all the buyer has to do is fake the whois to your information and you end up with no money and a lost domain. Escrowdns on the other hand has the seller push the domain to them, and then they push the domain to the buyer which eliminates the escrow.com loophole for scammers.

When I was the buyer I had my domain in my account within 4 hours and when I was the seller I had the check at my door the next day (about 14 hours later) so I highly recommend them. :2drinkspit:

With Escrow.com you have inspection period, that's what it's there for. They also don't have any conflicts of interest like being an active buyer in the domain space. I'd rather not have another domainer looking at all my transactions.
