Hmmm, I have an idea for an internet paparazzi site
Could not agree more - It's like that with anything in life - example: wife
She and her childhood friend grew up in the same little country Texas town - Both had stable families - no divorce, etc - both with perfect grades - highschool and college - after graduation - it took my wife 2 years of searching to find a mediocre job in her field (accounting). It paid very little (really not even worth having for the income). 10 years later - she makes about 60k a year and is not even in management and is a great, hard working accountant. Goes the extra extra mile, etc.
Her friend immediately had a job right out of college - and it was near a six figure income in her field .
Difference - Wife's parents are anti-social -they know no one in their community and did not belong to any organizations in the area or from school. (no ties)
Her friend's parents both belonged to several organizations - and were connected to their prev. frat and and other orgs from college.. that is how her friend got the better job ..her parents knew someone ..and the truth is ..she is an awful accountant - but she had social linking.. 10 years later she is a partner in a cpa firm taking down 150k-200k a year..Barely work 30-40 hours a week.
It's the same on the Net - Edification and Hard Work (smart work) are the foundation to success.. Connections..

haha, I actually have nothing against canada, just spent a week up there earlier this year, lovely place (Banff, Lake Louise area)
