Promoting weight loss products

Ok,testing as always,so decided to pick something more competitive, so why not weight loss keyword, nothing new heh ? But I started reading that you must have to watch out on the reviews on your site. I can be sued real quick by FTC. I was thinking use reviews from forums and other places and copy from vendors site, so if someone tries to send me some email I dont wanna replay to, I can point to information source ? How legal is that ?

I'd suggest reading the official statement from the FTC as part of your decision-making process.

The "oh that was someone else's review that violated your guidelines, I just republished it and used it to earn affiliate commissions, like an innocent bystander" defense might not be your best option. You decide.

If you're using the original testimonials and reviews from the official site (assuming you are an affiliate), can you still get sued? I would hope the official site would be the one bearing responsibility for that.
