Aequitas is the dude you want to deal with on something like this. I bought in on the original and was happy with that - all he has done is go out of his way to improve it since then. Not having to scrape 35,000 videos alone is worth the price of admission. Looking forward to developing my own sites - soon as I finish my quality assurance checks (23,437 videos to go :love-smiley-086:).
 
Aquitas- any tips on driving quality traffic?

A good friend of mine runs a very successful adult affiliate network (trafficgigolos) and he says only a very small percentage of his signups come from affiliates who do search or social networking; the majority of their partners are huge guys with established, high-traffic sites with great type-in domains and what not. I know you can buy adult traffic as well, but I've heard that it's absolutely junk.

That said, I feel it would be difficult for your non-adult-oriented affilaite to jump in the game; I'm sure the Website software is well-worth the money however... Any tips that you can provide would be helpful.
 
It's possible that I'm just retarded, but I don't see a system requirements list -- what is the min. version of PHP needed for the script?

Also, the order page offers additional licences for $10 each, and the forum indicates one can buy them at any time, but can they be bought for $10 each at any time, or is that price a time-of-purchase special?

The min requirements are PHP 4.3 or higher, Mysql Databse (V4 or so), your database should have at least 20MB of storage space and thats pretty much it.

I've never had a single issue with someone not being able to install it I think 99% of hosting providers are up to date enough to easily support this software.

As for the various other questions about adult traffic ect, well this isn't exactly the thread for it but as mike pointed out there was a really good one on the subject which still holds some excellent weight.

Also I forgot to mention the software runs off domain licenses so if you buy only the software then you get 1 domain license with that software which means you can only install it on 1 domain.

Each additional domain you wish to install it on will cost you the $10 additional fee upto a maximum of 25 domains but at a later date if you wish to purchase more domain licenses you may do so in the membership section of the site without re-paying the initial $40 for the software.

These "sites" that it makes seem like watered down versions of TGP/MGP's that existed more than a decade ago, so how is this new or useful?

Conversion rates on these galleries were pretty shitty back then, I can imagine they are even worse now.

I dunno man.. Guide here or not Adam, don't go abusing your powers and ruin your rep just to make a few hundred bucks selling a script that doesn't deliver what it promises on..

That's my final warning to ya. This is the second time you're involved in something questionable like this.

There was no intent on trying to abuse the Guide powers by posting this here and as for promises well I believe it will deliver just fine.

I never once gave a number value to how much money you can earn with an adult video website, In my personal experinces with them though I've seen ok conversions, I agree they are not the best but they are ok in my opinion.

I do promise that the software will give you a website that will display more then 35,000 adult videos for you, even a demo to see exactly what your purchasing.

If you make no money at all from it, its not my problem for the simple fact that it takes more to make money then just to toss up a website, you've got to do your marketing, link building, and testing on top of all these things.

I do understand fully about how you feel with your post and the point is taken to heart but if anyone has an issue with there purchase I'm always more then willing to help them out but even so I also trust my customer service and I highly doubt you'll hear any complaints.

As for the Warrior Forum post, yes I have no problems admitting I posted this service there first, I actually post a few things on there forums from time to time which earn me some quick cash. Not long term or stable cash but if there is a need for an extra few hundred bucks to toss around then why not, just as long as its a good service and I'm not ripping people off.
 
Not sure if this is the second time Jon is referring to, but it's the the second time I've been interesting in one of your creations only to find it quickly morphs into something different, without the support and upgrades promised.

Some of the vids on the demo site seem dead but overall it does look good.

Is this likely to be sold (and then resold) in the near future? Or will you continue to own and support it?
 
I bought this script when it was original version. I can say I was happy with it. Ive made 2 signups with it just submitting to link dumps..so I have paid for the $15 original investment.

I didnt expect to get rich over it I just wanted a script to fuck around with since I have no knowledge of installing scripts and it was very simple and I learned alot by messing with it.

Not sure what the fuss is over....I thought it was a good product and like anything else in IM you gota put time into it to make any money.

Cool. Sorry if my last post sounded shitty, just kinda disappointed about the other thing disappearing.

I'll have a proper look later in the week, are any resale licenses still available? (Presumably they allow you to "sell" to yourself, thus installing on as many domains as you like?)

I've been using this script since the first version came out... and overall I'm doing 1:45 free joins to uniques with this script... tho I've only pushed a minor amount of my network traffic to it, some 404s etc... it's already doing much better than most of my TGP/MGP sites that I'm sending from...

I know it's not going to make me rich, but I'm definitely happy with it...

tube sites or even fake tube sites with hotlinked content (imho most surfers can't tell the difference anyway) are hot these days... and there's a significant demand for a tube site style CMS out there in the adult sphere... not many other competing scripts out there right now either...

I think eventually scripts like this are going to replace all the old TGP/MGP sites...
