I have a site with a large database of over 20k plus pages and its all on a wordpress site. The site was doing fine until I had the dynamic database integrated (different cities). Now every time i go into the cms to make changes to my existing pages it takes forever and a day to load. I'm thinking about leaving WP and need suggestions. I'm not a programmer and don't have knowledge as to what is the best language or platform to build it on..Any suggestions would be helpful.
For more clarification: the site has a dynamic database to display the different cities in the US with local business listings on each city page. The site also has a couple other static page sections.
