Problems with current big-name blogging software

I see a few threads asking what blogging software people use, and think is the best. But there's no thread dedicated to problems that people find annoying with them... I'll start:

Recently I've tried making a few blogger blogs. I don't mind the interface (though it could use some improvement), but what really gets my goat, is that there's no way to get categories. You have to do retarded workarounds for something that they should have included from the start.

WordPress is a total bastard to upgrade. And I hate Matt, who is a hypocrite and an asshole.

I have never tried upgrading wordpress, but have some sites I was going to try it on. I sense then it is more than just saving the template changes and installing the new version?

Dreamhost has one click upgrades for Wordpress, they make it pretty simply.

Also, why is Matt a hypocrite and an asshole? The spam pages thing or something else?

What do you mean with blogger blogs?

If the host has Cpanel with Fantastico, it is a simple one click upgrade.

Manual upgrades can be a beast though.
