when you are running a PPC - how long do you let it run before you decided its not working

i usually go with the value of 1 - 2 comissions worth - if the results look good ill tweek and carry on - if they look bad ill pause the campaign and think about it or delete it

It depends on the program - the longer the better, because your data will be more accurate (I am sure there is probably a statistical formular that should be used to get an accurate data set).

Usually, I run at least several hundred clicks.

I run it for roughly 1 month on highly targetted terms. Gather data and conversion rates, and adjust accordingly.

I pay more attention to how often the conversions come in than the price. If I run an offer, and I get a bunch of conversions then I'll go back and find out how to get good traffic to the offer cheaper. If the conversions are bad or non existant I'll can it.
